buckeye22's NCAA tournament projections 2/24

I think North Carolina is one of the top 4 teams, and with Lawson healthy may end up a 1 seed. But as of now, with Duke leading the ACC and Texas being a hot team lately, I have to give the nod, at least for this week to the Longhorns. If I was going based on how I think the teams will finish, it would have been the Tarheels, but I'm only going by what I see now. The race for the last 1 seed will be something to watch over the last month.

As for Georgetown and Xavier, that was a mistake. Until I looked closer last night, I thought Georgetown's resume was better being that they're in the tougher conference. But it's hard to overlook Xavier with their 7 top 50 wins. Even if you change the seeds around, they'd still be in the same regional and would still be scheduled to play in the Sweet 16. For now I'm leaving it like I am, but I will be sure to look closer into that next week.

How in the world do you have ND as a #6 seed? They are currently 21-5, and 11-3 in one of the best conferences in the nation. The Irish are #20 in the RPI's, 17th in both polls, 7-4 against the Top 50, have the second longest home court winning streak at 36 games, 8-2 in their last games (Georgetown and UConn), and have one of the best inside-outside combos in the country in Luke Harangody and Kyle McAlarney.

You need to redo your brackets big time! Plus I think Ohio State is playing itself out of the Tournament, unless they can get to the semi's of the Big 10 tourney!
