Only thing I wish I wouldn't have done looking back is take Billingsley as high as I did. I kind of went with my heart and not my head there, and he probably would have been around in the 10th or 11th round. I do think he is going to have a great year though. Unfortuantely, all 3 of the potential Cubs closers were drafted, so if Howry doesn't win the job that's a wasted pick.

fantasy draftI think your best pick is Tom Gorzelanny in the 19th round. That's a real steal! Getting Adrian Gonzalez in the 12th is pretty good, too. Overall it seems like a pretty solid team. Your starting pitching is a little weak, especially since Buccholz might not begin the season in the starting rotation, but you make up for it a bit with a solid cast of relievers. |

fantasy draftIs it a H2H or roto league? Not that it matters that much - just curious. Your SP is weak, I think, but your offense is decent, especially if it's a roto league. You should do well in SBs, HRs, Rs, though some of your guys are more the leadoff hitters and not big RBI guys. Keep an eye out for some young SPs who get off to a fast start that you can pick up on the waiver wire after the season starts - that will help. |

fantasy draftH2H. I'm a worried about the starting pitching, especially since some of them aren't on teams that will win big. I expect Hamels and Billingsley to break out this year and win more than last year, but Buchholz(especially if he gets sent down) and Gorzelanny scare me a bit for wins. |

fantasy draftThe other thing that worries me, is that I took a lot of potential breakout players, or players that have had 1 good year but haven't followed it up. Zimmerman, Gonzalez, Billingsley, Hamels, Pena, Victorino. If these players all live up to the hype of last year or their possible breakout year, this could be a good team. If they all fall flat, I could have a lot of work in front of me to get the team decent. |
